Dan Sickles

ETW alumnus - (Late breaking news about Price Check is that it has been picked up by IFC and will be released nation wide Nov. 16th)Dan is an actor, producer, and director in New York City. The first film he helped produce, Price Check, screened at Sundance Film Festival this past year.  His second, a short French-American film, is screening at the 65th Annual Cannes International Film Festival.   He also runs The Boat NYC, a production office in Manhattan, with his partner, Alli Maxwell.  Dan has appeared in numerous films and Off-Broadway shows as well. Mala Mala is his directorial debut.

Lucy Alibar, UG Drama graduate, is the co-writer with Benh Zeitlin of the screenplay for "Beasts of the Southern Wild" which is opening to huge raves in the press, and is sure to be a summer blockbuster film.

Drama Alumna, Dawn Cantwell performs at Joe's Pub

Winner of the 2011 NYMF’s Next Broadway Sensation competition, musician/actor/dancer Dawn Cantwell makes her Joe’s Pub solo concert debut. Originally from the wilderness of Altadena, California, Dawn came to New York City to study theatre at NYU’s Classical Studio and CAP 21. Since then, she has been seen onstage at City Center, currently has a film in production, and just finished recording her EP in Los Angeles with her brother Ryan. Join Dawn and some of her friends as they use music to explore the ineffable through her original material, as well as works by rising songwriters, and a few fresh takes on hit classics.
