Biography
Raïna was the founding director of Blah Blah Theatre for which she produced, directed and performed group and self-generated performance works. She was a founding member of Shoestring Productions for whom she directed numerous plays, including Safiya Henderson-Holmes'
Testimony, produced Off-Broadway at the New Federal Theatre. Recent credits include directing the NYU production of her play
Das Kaspar, assistant directing NYU's productions of
Dream Farm: An Improvisation, and
Troilus and Cressida, and directing Sarah Schulman's
Promenade at PS 122.
