Biography
Gwendolen is an actress, writer, director and Educational Theatre Specialist. She is the Director of the NYU Creative Arts Team high school project. As an actress she has appeared in many New York productions including Tapestry, Sidnee Poet Heroical and Amen Corner. With Linda Powell and Breen Clarke, she formed the Narratives Performing Company, which performed the works of poet Cheryl Clarke and developed I Think I Should Rest Awhile, a docu-stage piece recounting the experiences of domestic workers. Her writings appear in the anthology Gaptooth Girlfriends: The Third Act and Learning Through Theatre: New Perspectives on Theatre in Eduction, edited by Tony Jackson.
