H28.0662 Lecture 4 Credits
Instructor(s): Garrett Eisler
This course explores the great variety of theatrical activity going on in the city. It helps the student to recognize the vast number of theoretical issues and practical questions the theatre raises, and to develop serious intellectual and critical vocabulary for responding to it. Once a week we attend the theatre, having prepared by reading the play or some related theoretical material. We follow each show with an in-depth class discussion of the major issues raised by the performance.
This course carries a $300 ticket fee, to be assessed by the Bursar. Ticket Fees are Nonrefundable. Thursday evenings must be available for show-going.
